“Piper, our ten and a half-year-old blue Great Dane, has had difficulty getting up and down and walking for some time. Her symptoms began about a year ago, and have progressively worsened. We tried NSAIDs for her but she had a terrible adverse reaction to them so she is unable to take them. Lately, she has progressed to having balance issues in her rear legs causing her to fall, and terrible difficulty getting up without assistance. This has caused her to also be depressed.
